Cudy.Co (“Cudy”) takes your privacy very seriously. We ask that you read this privacy policy (the “Policy”) carefully as it contains important information about what to expect when Cudy collects personal information about you and how Cudy will use your personal data. 1. Information collected from all visitors to our Site

We will obtain personal data about you when you visit us. When sensitive personal information is collected, we will first obtain your explicit consent. “Personal information” is information that can be used to identify you as an individual or to relate to an identifiable individual. This may include (but not limited to) your name, date of birth, education details, email address, zip code/postal address, telephone number, NRIC or images, voice recordings, bank and credit card details.


“Personal information” may be collected from us through the Site, e.g. when you contact us, subscribe to our Newsletter, register as a Student, register as a Tutor. We may also collect your personal information offline through phone calls with a sales representative, or when you contact our customer service. Information from external sources may also be obtained in order to improve our ability in providing relevant marketing, offers, and services to you. This information may be taken from public databases, marketing partners, social media platforms, as well as from other third parties.


ii. Other Information


“Other Information” is any information that does not specifically identify you as an individual, or relate to an identifiable individual. This might include that of browser and device information, information collected through cookies, email tracking, pixel tags and/or other technologies; other information provided by you. This information collected is for us to facilitate the user experience and operations of the Site and other purposes.

iii. IP address


Your “IP address” is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider. When accessing the Site, your IP Address may be recognised and recorded in our server log files, along with the time of visit and page(s) that you visited on the Site. This is standard practice and is done automatically on many websites and other services. IP addresses help us to calculate the Site’s user traffic, identify server issues and administer the Site.

2. Storage of information collected from users

Information collected that are mentioned in the section “INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM ALL VISITORS TO OUR WEBSITE” may be retained as long as it serves the purpose of collection. We do not store information for use for other purposes that have not been notified to a concerned individual. You may refer to the section “USAGE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM USERS” to understand our use of personal information data. We hold regular reviews on the personal data we have to determine if the personal data is still needed. Documents containing your personal information will be destroyed when it is no longer required. These documents will be irretrievable or inaccessible to our organization.

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behaviour information in order to personalise your experience on our Site and for various other purposes, including:


i. to identify you as a user on our Site and stores your preferences and information that you may have previously provided;

We are committed to maintaining the security of personal information. We have put in place appropriate security procedures and technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal information to prevent loss, misapplication, unauthorised access or disclosure of information.


Sensitive information like passwords and credit card information are encrypted using encryption technology such as (SSL) which may be stored in Singapore and overseas. However, it has to be noted that no data security measures can promise 100% security at any given time. We also restrict access to information about you to Cudy employees who require the information in order to respond to your inquiries and requests. Employees who misuse your information will subject to strict disciplinary actions.

6. Access to your information and updating and correcting your information

Subject to the exceptions referred to in section 21(2) of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore (“PDPA”), you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please send an email to hello@cudy.co. We may make a small charge for this service.

We want to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. If any of the information that you have provided to Cudy changes, for example, if you change your email address, name or payment details, or if you wish to cancel your registration, please let us know the correct details by sending an email to hello@cudy.co. You may ask us, or we may ask you, to correct information you or we think is inaccurate, and you may also ask us to remove information which is inaccurate. This process may take a few working days to process.

7. Non-disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to third parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, as long as these parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, protect ours and others’ rights, property, or safety, or respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties. Disclosure of information may also be done to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental requests. 9. Sale of business

If Cudy’s business is sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.

If we change our privacy policy we will post the changes on this page, so that you will be aware of the information we collect and how we use it at all times.
